I don’t usually write a lot of reviews but given the experience I have had with Bay Vista Design I felt that others need to know what a helpful and talented team they are.
As Owner Builders we were struggling to find the right people to design and draw our “dream home” and after speaking to numerous companies, my partner and I decided to go with Michael and Aaron at Bay Vista and I honestly cannot be more happy than I am right now with this decision. From the first consultation we were impressed. And with being new to this whole process, both Michael and Aaron have been patient, helpful and very understanding when it came to my questions and lack of knowledge. They have helped us every step of the way including assistance with permits, advice and their professional guidance. In fact, due to their amazing service, we decided to use them for a commercial project we decided to get underway too.
Michael and Aaron are very thorough. They respond to emails immediately and are only a phone call away. Nothing is too big or too small for them to tackle. They deliver outstanding service but also deliver it with a smile. As one can imagine, this process can be very stressful but Michael & Aaron have put my mind at ease at all times. I have contacted them with basic questions, sometimes ones that aren’t even associated with their service, and they have been happy to help. I cannot speak highly enough of them.

As an inexperienced home renovator, I really didn’t know what I expected from my design and drafting company. My preferred builder explained why he loved working with Bay Vista Design and their construction drawings, so that was reason enough for me to explore working with them.

Michael and Aaron were fantastic from the get go. After our initial consultation, we came up with a design and the journey started. This was the first time I have ever undertaken an owner builder extension and did not know what to expect. However, after the initial consultation I felt relaxed as everything was explained. Our extension was a substantial one with the addition of a garage, living room and also a free standing pergola with store room. All up our extension was approximately 100m2 with the garage and living room under the one roof. I must say that Michael was always available on the phone! That is one thing that kept me in good spirit along the way, knowing if I needed help or advice Michael was a phone call away and always made himself available. If I left a message, I would get a call back promptly. The project came out perfect, I have absolutely no issues or regrets with Bay Vista Design. They went above and beyond with their service. This kind of service is difficult to find these days and I am very thankful I made contact with Bay Vista Design. If I ever do another project again, Michael and Aaron can expect my call.
